LISBON: A small move by Portuguese striker Ronaldo has cost international beverage company Coca-Cola 4 billion.

According to the details, Cristiano Ronaldo said during a press conference yesterday, grabbing a bottle of water by the side of the 2020 Euro 2020 sponsored company Coca-Cola and saying, “Hugh water!”  Ronaldo’s video went viral on social media.

In a 30-minute press conference, Ronaldo offered water instead of soft drinks, after which Coca-Cola shares fell from 56.10 cents to 55.22 cents, reducing the overall value of the Coca-Cola brand by 4 billion.  The value of the international beverage company fell from 242 billion to 238 billion.

“Upon arrival at our press conference, the players were offered water with Coca-Cola and Coca-Cola Zero,” a Euro spokesman said.

It is clear that Ronaldo has already expressed his displeasure over soft drinks and sweet drinks and has expressed his displeasure at his son Ronaldo Jr. for eating junk food and drinking Coca-Cola and Fanta.
