ISLAMABAD: The Meteorological Department has forecast thundershowers in different districts of the country during the next two days.

According to sources , the Meteorological Department has good news for those suffering from heat and load shedding that there is a possibility of thundershowers and torrential rains in several districts of the country in the next two days.  The current wave is likely to break.

The meteorological department said winds from the Arabian Sea will enter the northeastern parts of the country from Friday evening or night, and from today to Monday, it will enter Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Murree, Attock and Chakwal.  Will be  And Jhelum, Gujranwala, Gujarat, Hafizabad, Mandi Bahauddin, Narowal, Sialkot, Lahore and Kasur are likely to receive showers with wind and thundershowers, while Lahore and Gujranwala, Sialkot will receive showers and thundershowers on Saturday and Sunday.  Chance of rain.  The low-lying areas of Jhelum and Rawalpindi are also at risk of flooding.

The meteorological department said thundershowers are expected in Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Nowshera, Peshawar, Kohat, Bannu, Dera Ismail Khan, Mardan, Buner, Dir, Shangla and Kohistan between Friday and Saturday.  Heavy rains are forecast at some places during this period, while in Sargodha, Bhakkar, Layyah, Khushab, Mianwali, Faisalabad, Jhang, Multan, Sahiwal, Dera Ghazi Khan, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar on Saturday evening or Sunday night.  Chance of Rain  Rain is also expected in Toba Tek Singh, Barkhan, Musa Khel and Zhob.

On the other hand, the Meteorological Department’s Early Warning Center for Hate Wave has issued an advisory for Karachi stating that the city is likely to experience much faster winds than normal during the next three days.  The weather is expected to be partly cloudy. The Meteorological Department said that drizzle is expected in different parts of the city on Saturday morning and night, during which the maximum temperature in the city may remain between 33 and 35 degrees while sea breezes will continue.
